Pokemon Gold and Silver we're originally supposed to be released in 1998, however didn't arrive until November 21 1999 in Japan. With that in mind the final versions of Pokemon Gold and Silver is two years more developed then the Space World 97 Demos, making this an extraordinary find, even more so that it's made it's way to the public. On November 15th, 1997, an early playable demo of Pokémon Gold and Silver was shown at Space World '97. While considered to be a lost treasure, on May 26th, 2018, an anonymous user unexpectedly dumped a ROM of the elusive demo online, twenty years since it was last playable by the public. Not posting any links, but it's out there. It was leaked on 4chan a couple days ago and now it's getting a full-out release. Pokemon Gold and Silver were nearly two years away from actual release at the time of the demo's creation. Very interesting stuff in this beta, that's for sure. Sprites.
